James Milner to captain England against the Netherlands

Liverpool midfielder James Milner will captain England in Tuesday’s friendly against the Netherlands at Wembley.

It will be the first time 30-year-old Milner, who has won 57 caps, has led his country.

Roy Hodgson is expected to make several changes from Saturday’s 3-2 win in Germany, with keeper Fraser Forster set to replace the injured Jack Butland.

Spurs keeper Michel Vorm and Chelsea midfielder Marco van Ginkel have been added to the Dutch squad.

The Dutch, who finished third at the 2014 World Cup, have not qualified for this summer’s Euro 2016 finals in France.
