Manchester United will reportedly seek to land the services of Ben Chiwell from Leicester City during next summer’s transfer window.
The Red Devils have utilised different options on the left side of the defence and Brandon Williams and Luke Shaw have been the regular picks of late.
Both of them have impressed in certain games for the season but Metro claims that they will make the raid for a new left-sided defender this summer.
It is added that Chilwell is the prime target on their radar and they are optimistic of their chances of signing the England international prior to the 2020/21 season.
Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers has recently indicated that the club won’t entertain any bids for their players but the transfer stance may change by the summer.
They have sanctioned the sales of Riyad Mahrez and Harry Maguire in the 2018 and 2019 summer transfer windows and Chilwell could likewise head through the exit door in five months’ time amid the interest from United and Chelsea.
